This TED talk is interesting to consider in conjunction with the previous post on the openness of the Obama campaign’s app codes. Beth Noveck, the former deputy CTO at the White House considers the potential of open source technologies. Should the Obama administration do likewise?
This is a really interesting article on the tension over whether to make public the underlying code of Obama’s election apps. It sounds like OFA is making a big mistake here. At the least this should be shared with other progressive/democratic candidates around the country.
Very interesting article about the California Labor Federation’s social media work in the 2012 election, and efforts to build a broader community of labor supporters beyond the election.
